Spark - be inspired by Slough, and the Universe 10am - 2pm Wednesday 26th October 2016

'TRANSFORMING FROM STARDUST' exhibition invitation

10am - 2pm Wednesday 26th October Room 350, 350 Edinburgh Avenue, SL1 4TU above Slough Aspire Centre (follows Slough Aspire October Breakfast Network)

As part of the HOME Slough Spark Festival, you are invited to an exhibition by artist Lorna Carmen McNeill incorporating fibre optic lighting. Lorna’s installation is inspired by Slough based astronomer William Herschel, whose discoveries include the planet Uranus and the infra-red technology which has contributed to modern fibre optics.

"Fun and productive; we came away feeling both energised and inspired by our team’s creative potential!” "A unique and exceptional team-building activity.” "I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to any organisation looking for something different.” "Your team can stretch their creative muscles whilst getting to know each other on a more individual level.” Feedback from event with Cass Business School, City University, August 2016

"The installation enacts the greater enthralling Journey of the Universe within which we all participate - we are literally made from the same chemical elements as stardust.”

From 17th – 31st October, you can also book a private view and/or bespoke activity with your team at Room 350. Find inspiration from Herschel, a Slough based pioneer and this incredible fibre optic installation to:

  • Explore and express your organisation’s vision, mission and core values

  • Work more cohesively and improve communication

  • Have fun together as a team – unwind, motivate, inspire and reward

  • Tap into your collective creative potential
